She has founded a new LinkedIn group, Women in Sustainable Rail in December 2020: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/9013203/

Emma is currently aiming to acquire more LinkedIn members for Women in Sustainable Rail and develop occasional virtual speaking opportunities and events, and wishes a warm welcome to new members, if this is of interest.

This networking group has a common agenda to combat climate change and share information on environmental issues in rail, promote new technologies and decarbonisation. In addition this group promotes corporate responsibility, equality, diversity and inclusion at work.

Emma has previous experience of developing a similar networking group, having founded Women in Sustainable Construction and Property (WSCP) on LinkedIn in 2011, which has steadily grown to over 1300 LinkedIn members.

She has previously organised events with inspirational male and female speakers for WSCP on topics regarding sustainability, health buildings, smart cities, diversity and inclusion matters with organisations hosted by PwC, Lend Lease, Jacobs, Turley, Interface Carpets, and Ramboll, and other organisations, as well as organised joint events for WSCP jointly with the CIOB, IEMA and the Danish Embassy in London.
