IEMA has today unveiled the inspiring people and businesses that have made the shortlist for its Sustainability Impact Awards 2020.
The awards recognise those who are transforming the world to sustainability, showcasing the achievements of organisations striving to tackle the global challenges of the climate and environmental emergency.
A great number of entries were received following the success of last year's inaugural event, and the judges found it particularly difficult to select the shortlisted entries.
The awards ceremony is still planned for Friday 18 September, although the location is being kept under review following the coronavirus outbreak.
“This is a fantastic achievement for all those shortlisted, IEMA said. “One way or another, we will recognise innovation in sustainability at the IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards on Friday 18 September.
